LAKE FOREST, Calif.—February 6, 2015— Pfister® is continuing to make working in the kitchen easier than ever with the expansion of its touch-free faucet line. After its successful launch in November of the Pasadena and Selia touch-free kitchen faucets, Pfister is proud to announce a new addition to its REACT™ line, the Lita Touch-Free Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet.
Pfister’s proprietary REACT, or
Response Activated Technology, allows users to turn the water on or off by simply guiding their hand within the sensor’s range. The touch-free option provides intuitive simplicity in the kitchen, something that continues to increase in importance for consumers shopping for new faucets.
“Today’s homes are filled with smart technologies designed to make our lives easier, but sometimes that technology can be overwhelming,” says Jamie Dorman, group marketing manager for Pfister. “Our touch-free kitchen faucets offer technology with a purpose, allowing consumers to conveniently and efficiently perform everyday tasks, and providing the extra hand in the kitchen so many people can use today.”
REACT helps consumers keep a cleaner, healthier kitchen by minimizing the spread of germs, fingerprints and water spots. Additionally, SmartStop™ functionality automatically turns off the faucet after two minutes to save water and provide added convenience. Hibernate™ mode gives the user the option to disable the sensor during faucet cleaning.
Enhancing the faucet’s flexibility, the Manual Override mode allows consumers to operate the faucet with the handle instead of the sensor, at any moment, to allow for ultimate flexibility and convenience. The extended pull-down hose reaches every corner of the sink.
Additional faucet features include:
• All-metal spray head features three functions, including spray, stream and pause
• AccuDock™ advanced spray-head docking system ensures a tight connection to the faucet spout
• EZ Clean™ nozzles on the spray face enable removal of mineral buildup with a quick wipe, keeping the Lita faucet looking new
• One- to three-hole configuration allows installation versatility
The new Lita faucets with REACT are powered by a plug-in power adapter for the added plug-in convenience a cord provides. A battery pack is sold separately.
“We have incorporated purposeful technology to make our products easier to use, while offering consumers an affordable option,” says Tim Burdett, product manager, Pfister Faucets.
The Lita model will be available for pre-sale in March 2015 on Amazon.com and through nationwide wholesale partners, kitchen & bath showrooms and on Build.com beginning in April. Lita will debut with a list price of $599.
